Fence Repair

Leaning posts, loose boards, storm damage, broken gates — we assess the actual problem and fix it the right way.

What We Do

Fix the Problem,
Not the Symptom

Most fence repairs don't require replacing the whole fence — just addressing the actual cause. We come out, walk the fence, assess what's really happening, and give you an honest recommendation. If a repair makes more sense than a full replacement, we'll tell you that.

Common Repairs

Post replacement — set in concrete
Leaning fence diagnosis and correction
Storm and wind damage repair
Rotten rail or kickboard replacement
Gate realignment and hardware replacement
Partial section replacement

All posts set in concrete. Galvanized hardware throughout.

Our Process

How It Works

1

Site Walk

We walk the fence line and identify every repair needed — not just what's visible from a distance. We give you an honest assessment of what makes sense.

2

Detailed Estimate

We email you a detailed estimate with a clear total price. That price will not change unless you change the scope.

3

Repair

We fix the root cause — usually the post — not just the visible damage. We show up on time and work efficiently.

4

Clean Completion

We clean up to the best of our abilities when the work is done and haul away all debris.

* Old fence posts and concrete are not removed below ground level.

FAQ

Common Questions

My fence is leaning — do I need to replace it all?+

Not necessarily. A fence can lean for a few different reasons, but the most common cause is a rotten or snapped post. Another reason can be a tree root pushing against the posts over time. There are various ways to address these situations — reach out and we can help determine the best course of action for your specific fence.

Boards are loose and falling out of my fence — do I need a new one?+

Not necessarily. Many fences with loose or falling boards can be repaired. We can help you determine whether a repair makes sense or whether the fence has reached the point where replacement is more practical.

At what point should I replace instead of repair?+

If the majority of the fence is rotting away, or a repair would not get you enough life out of the fence to be worth it, we would recommend replacing it. Another situation where we may recommend all new is when a repair becomes very labor intensive — at some point it is just not worth putting that amount of money into labor for a repair, especially in a retaining wall situation where the scope can grow quickly. We will always give you an honest read on where your fence stands.

Can you match replacement boards to my existing fence?+

We source the same species and grade of redwood and match the profile as closely as possible. New wood will look lighter initially.
